We’re a couple of weeks into the school year now and the kids are settling in nicely. As much as we enjoyed the care free days of summer, it has been nice to get back into a daily routine. With Kaia starting Kindergarten this year, we now have 3 of 4 kids in school! To some this may sound like freedom but to us it just means juggling different drop off and pick up times, 3x the parent meetings, 3x the volunteering, 3x the play date requests, 3x the number of valentine’s day cards to hand make come February! Admittedly, we do love the craziness every day life has to offer. I was just telling a client, “Some days Mike and I look at each other and say HOLY SH*T we have a lot of kids. And then we just laugh it off and roll with the punches.” We love our big crazy family!
Here are some photos from the first day of school. Kaia gets the spotlight because she is our Kindergarten champion sweety. We’re so proud of her! If you can’t tell, Mike and Kaia are total BFF’s!
